Order processing & delivery time
- Bio Printer Kit — Maker & Maker Plus: in stock. We build each kit to order and ship within 4–7 business days of purchase.
- Bio Printer Kit — Studio: pre-order. Ships in approximately 1–2 months; we email you before it ships.
- Slime Mold Kit & add-ons/refills: in stock, ship within 4–7 business days.
- Delivery time after dispatch depends on your location and carrier (typically 3–14 business days internationally). You'll receive a tracking email when your order leaves our workshop.
Shipping regions & cost
- We ship to: North America (US, Canada, Mexico), South America, Asia, Europe, and Oceania (Australia & New Zealand).
- Flat shipping: a flat $19 shipping fee is added at checkout.
- Free shipping on orders of $500 and over.
- Any import duties or taxes charged by the destination country are the customer's responsibility.
- We confirm delivery availability for your specific address at checkout. Custom Kit and Classroom orders may ship separately or be arranged directly.
Order cancellation
You may cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of placing your order, provided it has not yet shipped — just email orders@funguylab.com with your order number. Once an order has shipped it can no longer be cancelled, but see returns below.
Returns & refunds
- Hardware & unopened items: return unused, unopened hardware and accessories within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the item price (original and return shipping are non-refundable unless the item was defective). Email us first to start a return.
- Living & biological materials: for health and safety reasons, opened biological items — including Mucor cultures, slime mold (Physarum) cultures, agar plates, and dyes — cannot be returned once shipped.
- Refund timing: approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days of us receiving the return.
Damaged, defective, or missing items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete, contact orders@funguylab.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will send a free replacement of the affected part or issue a refund — no return required for damaged living materials.
Pre-orders (Studio Edition)
Studio is reserved with a 35% deposit; the balance is due before shipping. The deposit is fully refundable until the order enters production/ships — email us to cancel a pre-order before then.
